“High-resistivity red layer ” is a common name of a suite of high-resistivity rivers and lakes and red strata that are integrated with the Upper Permian Shiqianfeng Formation in the north of Dongpu Depression and are not integrated in the Neogene-Palaeogene. According to stratigraphic occurrence, lithology, well logging data and seismic data, it was classified as Lower Triassic. Recently, it has been found that the Permian and Triassic sporopollen assemblages in the “high resistivity red beds” are composed of sporopollen assemblages of Wei 77-3 well (2854.31m deep) and Weij 77-4 well (2815.13m deep) Respectively show the color of the early Triassic and Late Permian epochs; the horizon of “high resistivity red beds” should belong to the Upper Permian-lower Triassic.
