随着我国社会经济的逐渐发展,社会对人才的英语交际能力要求越来越高。听力作为交流沟通的重要基础与前提,加强学生的听力训练是每个大学公共英语听力教师都必须认真思考的问题。面对当前大学公共英语听力课堂教学模式较为枯燥、学生注意力不容易集中、学生英语基础薄弱、听力水平始终难以提高的现状,教师应积极探索将英语歌曲有效引入公共英语听力课堂教学中,通过挑选适当的歌曲和得当的听力训练方式,让学生在“润物细无声”的英语语言氛围下,提高学生英语学习兴趣、纠正学生的发音、扩大词汇量,轻松愉快地提高自己的英语听力能力。
