隐喻是人类认知的手段,是以语言为载体的思维现象。高校人才培养质量的一个重要指标就是思辨能力培养,我国英语专业学生思辨能力的培养并未得到足够的重视,思辨缺席引起了英语教学界的关注。本文以隐喻的认知功能、教学功能为理论依据,探讨如何通过隐喻教学来提高英语专业学生的思辨能力。
Metaphor is a means of human cognition, a phenomenon of thinking based on language. An important indicator of the quality of personnel training in colleges and universities is the cultivation of speculative ability. The cultivation of speculative ability of English majors in our country has not been given sufficient attention. The absence of speculative learning has drawn the attention of the English teaching community. This paper, based on the cognitive function and teaching function of metaphor, explores how to improve the ability of speculation of English majors through metaphorical teaching.
