James Agee described the “war film” as a triple, condensed image of a collective nightmare, custom, or desire. In other words, Archie means that war films are more than just war films. Taking this thought as a basic principle, the author lists a series of newspaper articles, historical materials and theoretical articles to analyze World War II films taken after the Persian Gulf War. In other words, the author attempts to explore how some of the film and film makers of this period used the fictional World War II story as a film “framework” by which significant elements of the Desert Storm act Say contemporary war psychology and ethics).
