铜仁市是一个多民族聚居的地区,其中土家族位居少数民族的第二位。本文通过对这一地区教育发展历史的回顾,既肯定了我市教育的发展和进步,也看到了我市教育较为落后的严峻现实,指出了它对提高少数民族人口素质、促进社会生产力的发展和构建和谐社会所带来的负面影响,并希望引起上级有关部门的重视,从政策、经费多渠道对土家族地区的教育事业予以倾斜。
Tongren City is a multi-ethnic area, of which Tujia ranks second among ethnic minorities. Through reviewing the history of education development in this area, this paper not only affirmed the development and progress of education in our city, but also saw the harsh reality that education in our city is relatively backward. It points out that it is of great significance to improving the quality of minority population and promoting the development of social productive forces And the negative impact of building a harmonious society, and hopes to arouse the attention of the departments concerned at higher levels and tilt the educational undertakings in the Tujia region from various channels of policies and funds.
