Superoxide dismutase (EC1·15·1·1, Superoxide dismutase, abbreviated as SOD) is a scavenger of superoxide anion radical (O_2~-) in the human body. It has been found that the level of SOD activity in humans is related to tumors, senile diseases, and immunity. There is a clear correlation between sexual diseases. In this study, the activity levels of copper and zinc-superoxide dismutase (Cu, Zn-SOD) in 319 cases of normal people in Shantou area were measured using color immunoplate method. The average value was 444.20 μg/gHb. If grouped by age, the average value below 20 years was 631.96±154.27 μg/gHb20-average was 548.94±154.54 μg/gHb; 30-average was 453.28±150.52 μg/gHb; 40~ The mean value was 446.36±112.95 μg/gHb; 50-mean was 392.72±150.47 μg/gHb; the mean value was above the age of 274.74±93.35 μg/gHb.
