马尾松林是三峡库区主要植被组成之一。实地调查表明： 目前三峡库区马尾松林可分为２１ 个群落类型；群落成层现象明显，可分为乔木层、灌木层和草本层；物种丰富度、多样性、均匀度在群落梯度上的分布规律均为：草本层＞ 灌木层＞ 乔木层；在海拔梯度上的分布无规律性。
Pinus massoniana forest is one of the main vegetation in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. Field investigation shows that at present, the Pinus massoniana forest in the Three Gorges reservoir area can be divided into 21 community types; the community stratification is obvious, which can be divided into arbor layer, shrub layer and herb layer. Species richness, diversity and evenness in community gradient Distribution law are: herb layer> shrub layer> arbor layer; irregular distribution in the altitude gradient.
