初中语文第四册《井岗翠竹》一文里的“青青”一词,既没有注音,也没有释义,这样容易产生误解。在古汉语里,“青qīng”是与“菁jīng”相通的。如《集韵》注:“青,与菁同”《释文》:“青,本亦作菁”;洪兴祖《楚辞补注》:“青,茂盛也,音菁”。那么,《井岗翠竹》一文里的“青青”,是否应当作“菁菁”解呢?我以为应当作“菁菁”解。因为“青青”是作为描绘毛竹茂盛的叠音形容词出现在课文里的。如:
