A short article published in the first issue of the “Group of Speech” magazine this year, “a strange thing - the airport is called” Airport “,” believes that the term “airport” is Japanese and China should not adopt it. I’m a bit different. First, “Airport ” is the earliest Japanese name used in Chinese, which in Japan is understood as “aviation port ”, “port of home delivery ”. This term is quoted in our country and will be as easy to understand as the seaport. If anyone understands it as “empty port ”. It will only be a temporary misunderstanding. The law of word development is convention, and many foreign nouns get used to it even after they are not used at the beginning. Second, the meaning of the word “airport” than the airport is rich, called the “airport” airport, is that this airport is an external import and export.
