描述了一种新型的流线监测器,可直接用于监测高压离子交换流出液中的α和低能β放射性。采用铈激活锂玻璃微珠为固体闪烁体。微球直径为38~220μm。选择适当的粒度,使得微珠间料液的厚度小于或等于α或低能β射线的平均射程。实验结果表明,在适当地设计取样槽后,监测器对~(241)Am,~(242)Cmα射线的绝对探测效率分别达到85.8%,92.8%。对~(14)C,~(90)Sr-~(90)Y的β射线则分别为62.1%和88.6%。在~(241)Am总加入量为7.4Bq,淋洗峰半宽度为0.22mL时,仍能给出清晰的淋洗曲线。与流线波闪烁监测系统相比,不但绝对探测效率相近,还具有不破坏产品化学体系的优点。
Describes a new streamline monitor that can be used directly to monitor alpha and beta energy radioactivity in high pressure ion exchange effluents. Cerium activated lithium glass beads are used as solid scintillators. Microspheres diameter 38 ~ 220μm. The appropriate particle size is chosen such that the thickness of the liquid between the beads is less than or equal to the average range of alpha or low energy beta rays. Experimental results show that the absolute detection efficiency of ~ (241) Am and ~ (242) Cmα rays of the detector reaches 85.8% and 92.8%, respectively, after designing the sampling well properly. The β-rays of ~ (14) C, ~ (90) Sr- ~ (90) Y were 62.1% and 88.6%, respectively. When the total amount of Am (241) Am was 7.4Bq and the half-width of the elution peak was 0.22mL, a clear elution curve was still obtained. Compared with the streamline scintillation monitoring system, not only the absolute detection efficiency is similar, but also has the advantage of not destroying the product chemical system.
