最近大半年来,我們新疆維吾尔自治区烏恰县伊斯兰教界都积极参加了社会主义教育学习,这次偉大的学习运动提高了我們的思想觉悟,坚定了我們跟着党走社会主义道路的决心,我們的工作和生活面貌也随着发生极大的变化。这里,我想举几个具体的例子来說明这一点。首先,拿对参加劳动的看法来說,在学习前,我們大都沒有参加过什么体力劳动,对劳动的看法也是相当錯誤的。此如有的人认为,宗教職业者此平常人要高一等,說到要和群众一起劳动,心里就不大舒服,这种輕視劳动人民的想法当然没有什么事实根据。事实倒是:勤劳生产的劳动人民是社会財富的創造者,是創造幸福的人,比起他們来,我們这些长期脱离生产的人很多地方都远不如他們。所以,通过学习,大家都认識到,必須拋掉旧想 In the most recent half year, the Islamic community in Wuqia County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have actively participated in the study of socialist education. This great learning campaign has raised our ideological consciousness and strengthened our determination to follow the party’s road of socialism. Our work and life outlook have undergone tremendous changes. Here, I would like to give a few specific examples to illustrate this point. First of all, taking the view of participating in labor, most of us did not participate in manual labor before we learned and the views on labor were quite wrong. If some people think that religious professionals should have higher standards than ordinary people and when it comes to working with the masses, they will not feel very comfortable. Of course, there is no factual basis for such a contempt for the working people’s ideas. The fact is that hard-working working people are the creators of social wealth and the people who create happiness. Compared to them, many of us who have been out of production for a long time are far less than they are. So, by learning, everyone realizes that you must throw away the old thoughts
