There are many claims about the origin of Botanical plants. For example, Western European scholars believe that the original plant is Bacopa monniera of the family Scrophulariaceae. Japanese literature records that it is a Polygalaceae plant Polyga reinii. There have been studies in China that the genus Damnacanthus belongs to the family Rubiaceae. In 1958, Professor Hou Kuozhao also conducted investigations on the commercially available Morinda officinalis and traced the original plant. It was considered to be a new species and variant in the Rubiaceae family. It was named Morinda officinalis How and M. officinalis var. hirsuta. City, and included in the pharmacopoeia. However, they are sure that they are not described in the species. As for the reason and process of the change between ancient Ba Lutian and modern use species, no research report has been reported. This article attempts to make a study to explore herbal medicine.
