英语教学中教师既要引入相关的文化背景知识,使学生进一步具备用英语进行跨文化交际的能力,又要想方设法以某种方式让学生感兴趣,乐于接受,这是需要教师要花心思、下功夫的。笔者在二十年的一线教学实践中不断探索和实践,发现在课堂教学中导入英语中言简意赅、富于表现力和生命力的习语,是一种很值得推广的办法。下面笔者就习语中英美饮食习俗及习语的性质、作用及怎样在英语课堂教学中导入以提高教学趣味性来进行探讨。
Teachers in English teaching should not only introduce relevant cultural background knowledge to make students further have the ability of intercultural communication in English, but also find ways to make students interested in and willing to accept in some way.
