新生儿的保健状况为衡量某个地区文化、卫生和妇幼工作质量的重要指标之一。为提高新生儿的保健质量,预防感染性疾病的发生,我们从1984年起,在重庆市市中区两路口地段内,对新生儿进行定期访视,以加强对新生儿的系统管理。在访视中指导正确育儿方法,及时处理各种新生儿疾病。新生儿访视主要由有经验的护士担任,配合教学,并定期有医师和实习医师参加。在新生儿出生后一周,14天,28天各访视一次。访视时仔细询问健康状况,详细检查身体,测量体重,并进行健康指导及一般疾病的防治,访视三次后在儿保科建卡,进行定期的各项健康检查。
