文检课教学的根本任务是培养大学生的情报意识,提高自学能力和科研能力。文检课教学包括4个基本要素,即教师、学生、教材和教学方法。几年来,我们始终抓住这四要素,使该课程走上了健康发展的轨道。 一、重视师资队伍建设 建设一支合格的师资队伍,要解决两个问题。 1.严格要求教师个体素质 要求有比较全面的知识结构,既要有图书情报学知识,又要有医学知识,还要有一定的外语水平。然而,真正符合条件而自愿从事此项工作的人较少,但不能就此放松教师素质的要求,而应在落实有关政策的基础上,对教师严格要求,激发他们的自豪感、使命感。我们的做法是:积极培养,大胆使用。几年来,我馆3名主讲文检课的教师先后到全国图书情报专业干部进修班学习半年至一年,还参加了医学文献标引、检索短训班及研讨会。通过积极培养,使他们增强了干好这项工作的信心。在用人上不论资排辈,尽量让专业基础扎实、外语水平较高的青年教师挑大梁,给他们压担子。目前,3名主讲文检课的教师都能独立完成教学任务。 2.合理配备教师的群体结构 配备教师时,应统筹各专业、各语种、各职级的比例,使师资队伍形成一个智力结构多样化,年龄结构梯形化、能级结构塔形化,以发挥最大效能的有机整体。我馆于1984~1985年先后抽调了1名英语教师

In recent years, we have always grasped these four elements and put the course on a healthy track. They also took part in medical literature indexing and retrieval of short courses and seminars. Through their positive training, they have made them more confident in doing a good job. Regardless of seniority in employment, try to make a solid foundation of professional knowledge, a higher level of foreign language teachers to highlight the young teachers, give them the burden.
