本文旨在探讨邓小平理论产生、发展的历史文化渊源，透视其作为中国社会主义现代化建设的指导思想所蕴涵的时代精神与民族精神，从信念的坚定性与“自强不息”的精神、策略的灵活性与“天下为公”的精神、发展的连续性与“天人合一”的精神、目标的整体性与“厚德款物”的精神等四个方面揭示邓小平的哲学智慧与人文精神，从而在文化发展这一新的视角论述邓小平理论的文化底蕴与人文魁力。
