2.4—D丁酯是消灭宽叶杂草幼芽的高效除草剂,如果处理后土壤含水量适宜,则除草效果好,但不同自交系对2.4—D丁酯的敏感程度不同。近年在玉米制种田上使用该药除草,均不同程度的产生了药害。其症状是:心叶展不开,拧成棒状,植株矮化,节间不伸长,向一侧倾斜等异常症状,轻的5～6片叶能缓解,严重的至抽雄前心叶仍不能展开,影响正常的生长和发育,因此在制种田中使用要慎重。
