现代市场经济体制的建立和完善，需要创造各种条件，具备各种因素，借助各种手段。作为现代管理手段的数量经济学，随着经济体制改革的深化，将愈益显示其广泛的用途和强大的生命力。本文通过一个案例的分析，初步阐明了数量经济学的重要内容之一──规划论──的意义和作用，然后对数量经济学的另一重要内容──系统工程学──作了简要论述，企图进一步促进人们对数量经济学的意义、内容、作用的认识、研究和应用，加强经济管理工作中的定量分析，提高决策和预测的精确度，促进经济与社会持续健康地发展。
The establishment and perfection of the modern market economic system need to create various conditions, possess various factors and make use of various means. As a modern management method of quantitative economics, with the deepening of economic restructuring, it will increasingly show its wide range of uses and strong vitality. Based on a case study, this article initially clarified the significance and function of one of the important contents of quantitative economics ─ ─ planning theory ─ ─ and then made a brief discussion on another important part of Quantitative Economics ─ ─ System Engineering ─ ─ , Attempting to further promote people’s understanding, research and application of the meaning, content and function of quantitative economics, strengthening the quantitative analysis in economic management work, improving the accuracy of decision-making and prediction, and promoting the sustained and healthy economic and social development.
