合成硅是传统的喷墨无光泽打印纸的涂布颜料,如果不牺牲运行效率的话就不能在高车速的商业纸机下进行涂布。表面强化处理的硅酸铝(Surface—enhanced aluminosilicate,SEAS)可代替合成硅。特别是在MSP中,SEAS有足够的孔隙快速使喷墨干燥,因而它的涂层防止了墨水的侧向扩散和渗透。使用SEAS作喷墨打印纸的涂料时,减少了粘胶剂和其它昂贵辅料的用量,在1050m/min的商业MSP下进行中试,产生了100多吨C1S无光泽喷墨打印纸。这种纸的性能和打印性能与日常使用的喷墨打印纸如硅基涂布纸、非涂布纸和多用途纸张相当。
Synthetic silicon is a coating pigment for traditional inkjet matte paper that can not be coated on high-speed commercial paper machines without sacrificing operating efficiency. Surface-enhanced aluminosilicate (SEAS) can replace synthetic silicon. Especially in MSP, SEAS has enough pores to quickly inkjet dry and therefore its coating prevents lateral diffusion and penetration of the ink. The use of SEAS as a coating for ink jet paper reduced the amount of glue and other expensive excipients and was pilot tested at 1050 m / min commercial MSP yielding more than 100 tonnes of C1S matte inkjet paper. The paper’s performance and printing performance is comparable to ink-jet printing papers used on a daily basis, such as silicon-based coated paper, uncoated paper and multipurpose paper.
