近闻,有的记者脱离报社工作的轨道,但又借用“记者”的名义,个人去从事一些以赚钱为目的的营业性活动。比如,有人在搞什么“公司”,有的开办什么店。对于这一类做法,有人认为是一种改革,并当作一条“生财之道”。然而,我思索再三,觉得这种做法是不能赞成,更不宜提倡的。记者是党的新闻工作者。记者第一位的任务是办好报纸,通过新闻武器来宣传党的路线、方针和政策,达到教育人民、鼓舞人民前进的目的。改革是为了调动人的积极性,从新闻单位来说,应当是把这种积极性 Recently, some reporters broke away from the track of newspaper work, but borrowed the name of “reporter” to engage in some commercial activities aimed at earning money.
