英语写作教学改革势在必行，而对比语言学和篇章语言学的研究成果，为写作教学改革在宏观上提供了一个框架、一种策略。本文阐述了对比语言学和英语写作教学改革的关系，提出并论证了建立在对比语言学研究成果基础上的，以教材改革、课堂教学模式改革和评价体系改革的三个宏观策略。
