沙湾林场隶属于新疆天山东部国有林管理局。林场下设办公室、计划资金管理科、天然林保护办公室、森林防火办公室、监察室、公益林建设办公室、资源林政科、退管会、多种经营管理中心等科室。全场现有在职职工79人,由汉、哈萨克、维吾尔、东乡、回5个民族组成,离退休人员125人。沙湾林区地处天山北麓中段,准噶盆地南缘,东西长65公里,南北宽27公 Shawan Forestry Center is under the jurisdiction of the State Forestry Administration in eastern Tianshan, Xinjiang.
