近年来学术语篇中的元话语逐渐得到学者关注。研究显示元话语是书面体和口语体学术话语的典型特征。然而目前绝大多数有关元话语的研究都以母语使用者为对象,针对中国英语学习者的研究尚不多见,尤其是基于语料库的研究。元话语是否同样存在于中国学习者二语产出中并能够促进二语写作水平提高,这个问题对于了解元话语的本质及二语习得心理过程都具有重要的理论和实践价值。有鉴于此,本研究对中国学习者学术语篇中的元话语使用情况进行了调查。
In recent years, meta-discourse in academic discourse has gradually drawn attention of scholars. Research shows that meta-discourse is a typical feature of written discourse and colloquial academic discourse. At present, however, most of the studies on meta-discourse are aimed at native speakers, and few studies have been conducted on Chinese EFL learners, especially corpus-based studies. Whether meta-discourse exists in Chinese learners’ second-language output also can promote the second-language writing. This question has important theoretical and practical value for understanding the essence of meta-discourse and second-language acquisition psychology. In view of this, this study investigated the use of metadiscourse in Chinese learners’ academic discourse.
