本文论述了履带式工程机械对地附着力矩的基础理论。内容重点是:根据对立统一规律,指出了履带对地附着力矩的两重性;对国内外现有主要计算方法进行了归纳和评议;从机器重心位置的变化所引起的履带接地比压的不同分布规律着手讨论,提出了履带接地平面核心的概念,推导出了机器重心在不同位置时的履带对地附着力矩的一般计算公式。全文包括:履带对地附着力矩的两重性,国内外现有的主要计算方法,履带接地比压和履带接地平面核心,履带与地面之间的摩擦系数,转向极距与偏心距的关系,履带对地附着力矩,简单的结论等七个部分。文章提出的概念和推导的有关公式,对设计履带式矿山机械、履带式起重运输机械,履带式拖拉机、坦克和其它履带式军用车辆,也是适用的。
