80年代以来,墨西哥调整经济发展战略,实行对外开放,不断探索对外经济关系多元化的新格局。近年来,世界政治、经济形势发生巨大变化,墨西哥认为:冷战和两极政治已经结束,世界正由对抗走向经济竞争,国际经济集团化趋势加强,由北美自由贸易区、欧洲统一大市场和环太平洋地区所构成的三大经济板块将在国际经济角逐中起主导作用。基于上述看法,墨西哥确定了对外经济关系的政策走向:将三大经济板块及拉美地区作为发展对外经济关系的四大支柱。
Since the 1980s, Mexico has readjusted its economic development strategy, implemented opening up to the outside world and constantly explored a new pattern of pluralistic foreign economic relations. In recent years, the political and economic situation in the world has undergone tremendous changes. Mexico believes that the Cold War and bipolar politics are over. The world is now moving from confrontation to economic competition. The international economic collectivization trend is intensified. The North American Free Trade Area, the European Unification Market and the Pacific Rim The three major economic sectors formed by the region will play a leading role in the international economic competition. Based on the above view, Mexico has set the policy direction for its foreign economic relations: taking the three major economic plates and Latin America as the four pillars of developing its foreign economic relations.
