甘耀明作为台湾新乡土小说的代表,近年的文学创作越来越成熟,其《杀鬼》甫一推出,即好评如潮,获奖无数。本文主要从审美层面入手,分析了小说中众多小故事蔓连交织而成的“块茎式”文学结构和“生成性”品格,“纯真之眼”的观察体物方式和以自然万物为喻的博物学思维方式,同时也对其收放自如的叙事节奏和纯熟的语言功夫做了观察。《杀鬼》中鼓胀着无所不能的想象狂力和充沛淋漓的元气,以一列自由、想象如日本动漫般的神奇列车,驰骋过创伤的乡土和沉重的历史,给我们带来了对台湾1940—1947年那段历史的独特思考。
