高职教育是高等教育的重要组成部分,对高职院校外语教师的发展应该给予足够的重视。另一方面,随着以内容为依托的教学理念在我国外语教学中越来越流行,这种教学理念对高职院校的外语教师心理和专业发展带来了较大的影响。本研究以来自全国40所高职院校、从事专业英语(English for special purpose,简称ESP)课程教学的42名高职教师为研究对象,采用定量分析与定性分析相结合的方法,探讨在以内容为依托的教学(简称CBI)理念下,从事专业英语课程教学对高职教师情感因素的影响以及高职院校外语教师的专业发展途径。研究表明,高职教师在从事专业英语课程教学时,自我效能不高,容易产生压力和焦虑等情绪,其压力主要来自于学生学习缺乏动力、备课量大、对学科内容不熟悉以及学科内容知识匮乏等因素。高职院校外语教师应强化自我发展意识,积极进行教学反思,并采用多层次的合作发展,学校和教育管理部门也应建立教师发展的支持系统。
Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education and should pay enough attention to the development of foreign language teachers in higher vocational colleges. On the other hand, with the teaching concept relying on content becoming more and more popular in our foreign language teaching, this teaching concept has a great impact on the psychology and professional development of foreign language teachers in higher vocational colleges. In this study, 42 high vocational teachers from 40 higher vocational colleges and universities engaged in teaching English for special purposes (ESP) are used as research objects. By using a combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, Content is based on the concept of teaching (referred to as CBI), the professional English teaching in higher vocational teachers affect the emotional factors and professional development of foreign language teachers professional approach. The research shows that the self-efficacy of higher vocational teachers is not high when they are engaged in the teaching of professional English, and the stress and anxiety are easily caused. The stress comes mainly from the lack of motivation for students, large amount of lesson preparation, unfamiliarity with subject content and knowledge of subject content Lack of other factors. Foreign language teachers in higher vocational colleges should strengthen their awareness of self-development, conduct active teaching reflection and adopt multi-level cooperation and development. Schools and educational administrations should also establish a support system for teacher development.
