In the rolling diameter of 219 ~ 325 mm, wall thickness 8 ~ 18 mm steel has great potential for metal conservation. One of the potential is to narrow the tolerance range when rolling steel pipe. However, due to the negative tolerance of steel rolling limit its horizontal wall thickness deviation, the deviation mainly depends on the ingot heating temperature and uniformity of the change. A method of controlling the accuracy is designed for the rolling of tubes in the negative tolerance range.
