在开展“双语教学实践”的这几年中,在双语课程设置上,学校积极创设英语课改实施环境,不管在投入的资源增量上,还是在资源存量上都集中学校财力、人力和物力,强化重点、优化学科、滚动发展,提高教育资源配置的效益。 我校深化英语教学改革、开展双语教学实验的基本思路是:在加强英语教学(使用牛津上海版教材),大力营造英语学习氛围的基础上,在若干具备条件的非英语学科用英语作为教学语言(由少到多,由浅入深)进行教学实践。
