Traditional teaching focuses on the transfer of knowledge. The new curriculum reform requires teachers to be people-centered. It highlights students’ ability to innovate and practice, collect and process information, acquire new knowledge, and analyze and solve problems. The core of innovation education is to develop students’ thinking ability. Thinking refers to the process of people’s rational understanding. It is divided according to the directionality of the thinking process. One person’s thinking can be divided into two forms: positive thinking (conventional thinking) and reverse thinking. They are in two aspects of contradiction, and there is no adverse thinking. There is no positive thinking. Without positive thinking, there is no reverse thinking. They complement each other. Therefore, they should have equal importance. In junior middle school physics textbooks, there is little content to deal with using reverse thinking. Therefore, the use of teaching materials for students
