At 298.15K and atmospheric pressure, the solution density of C 1 -C 4 fatty alcohol dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), a dipolar aprotic solvent, was systematically and systematically determined for the first time. The molar excess volume of binary mixture was calculated. The results showed that the V ~ E values of four butanol and isopropanol were positive in the full range of concentration. The V ~ E-X DMSO curve of n-propanol and ethanol showed S shape. The V ~ E value of methanol All the values were negative in the full range of concentration, and the results were discussed qualitatively based on the intermolecular interactions.
