Swedish iron ore pellets are a highly refined product used in blast furnaces or direct reduction processes in the steel industry. There are many benefits to using pellets in the steelmaking process. For example, consumers are more receptive to the product, have higher transportability and mechanical strength, but they consume time and energy. Because of this, in order to optimize production, improve product quality, so to increase its granulation. The aim of this project is to develop a numerical simulation that allows the investigation and optimization of the dry part of the sintering furnace.
