2014年10月25日晚,一场救援行动震撼武汉三镇:王家巷码头,3名游泳好手跃入长江,4名在岸上策应,救起江中遇险的3名青年。但其中一名施救者——64岁的陈忠贵却因体力不支魂归大江。陈忠贵的牺牲,让一个自发组成的救人群体浮上水面——武汉长江救援志愿队。这是一支自签“生死状”的队伍。仅2014年,这群自签“生死状”义务值守武汉两江四岸的草根志愿者已从滔滔江水中救起逾200人。
On the evening of October 25, 2014, a rescue operation shocked the three towns of Wuhan: Wangjiaxiang Ferry, three swimming masters leapt to the Yangtze River and four on the shore to rescue the three young people in distress from the river.
