In Tang Dynasty, there are two northern sea routes to the Korean Peninsula. One is starting from Shandong Peninsula through the Liaodong Peninsula crossing the Yalu River mouth south to Deji Island into the Nanyang Bay Tang En. The second is to cross the Yellow Sea directly from the Shandong Peninsula to reach the vicinity of Changyeong County, Hwanghae Road, North Korea, and then proceed south to Dejong Island and into Dunn in Nanyang Bay. These two sea routes have so far been the topic of debate among academics. From the route name to the path, etc., have failed to have a unified answer. Dengzhou to Dunn this sea is a topic worth exploring.
