连续修整技术是磨削(主要是缓进磨削)工艺的一个新发展。它的特点是在磨削的全过程中,修整器(如金刚石滚轮)始终不断她对磨轮进行连续的修整,从而使磨轮始终保持着良好的切削性能和正确的几何型面。应用连续修整可减小磨削过程中的磨削力和磨削比能,降低磨削温度,避免或减轻磨削烧伤,因而可大幅度地提高金属的切除率,它的生产效率可比间断修整磨削高10~20倍。连续修整还可使零件获得较好的型面几何精度和表面光洁度。故它特别适用于难切削材料(如镍基耐热合金)复杂型面的成型加工。但连续修整必须配有一套性能可靠,精度较高的同步补偿机构。现就目前国内外应用情况作一介绍。
