On September 13, 1993, Israeli Foreign Minister Peres and members of the PLO Executive Committee Abbas officially signed the peace agreement in Washington on April 25, which included the mutual recognition of Palestine and Israel and the limited autonomy of Palestine. This is a historic turning point in the relations between Palestine and Israel. It not only marks the beginning of an end to the hostile state of Palestine and Jews over the past hundred years and is ready to move towards reconciliation, and serves as a turning point in breaking the deadlock in the entire Middle East. However, the signing of this agreement is only the first step toward a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.
