近年来,内蒙古科右中旗人武部着眼“双应”要求,积极探索应急连发展路子,先后从旗各委、办、局抽调优秀人员,组建民兵应急连,在中旗打造了一支编配齐、拉得出、用得上、起作用的民兵应急队伍。该连组建3年来,先后圆满完成3次抗洪抢险任务、1次支援联合演练任务,多次承担春节、那达慕、赛马节等重大集会、节日的维稳治安任务,真正成为一支“建在身边、抓在手中、用在关键”的拳头力量。
