This article aims to investigate the effects of inhaled nitric oxide (NO) on pulmonary hemodynamics and oxygenation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) receiving long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT). PATIENTS AND METHODS The mean age of the 18 (12 male and 6 female) patients studied was 57 (41-75 years) with COPD evidence of spontaneous breathing and LTOT> 15 h / d.
