In traveling reports, on the one hand, the reporters move in a specific environment and form a specific interaction pattern between people and time and space. This interactive pattern provides the possibility of comprehensive cultural observation and experience. On the other hand, reporters intervene in a heterogeneous cultural environment and interact with different cultures’ inherent concepts of time and space to achieve communication and dialogue among different cultures. This article takes “Silk Road Wanli” as an example to explore the significance of the cross-cultural communication of traveling reports.
