Objective To analyze the effect of nucleic acid detection (NAT) on blood screening of blood donors. Methods A total of 1000 blood samples from blood donors in blood donations from December 2014 to November 2016 were selected as the research objects. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to test all the subjects and the test results were analyzed. Results All the samples were positive for HBV / HCV / HIV-1 positive screening, 52 were positive, and NAT was positive and ELISA negative 11. In the differential test, 2 positive HBV-DNA positive samples were positive, 1 HIV-1 RNA positive and 0 HCV-DNA positive. Conclusion The nucleic acid detection technique can effectively reduce the transmission of diseases caused by donor blood donation during the window of infection and concealed infection, and improve the safety of blood transfusion.
