The structure of ethyl xanthogen group is: (abbreviated as Exan, which is a bidentate ligand which can form a stable complex with many metal ions.) Based on the experimental results, three kinds of Ni (Ⅱ) and two kinds of Zn ( Ⅱ) ethylxanthogenate complexes were compared systematically.The infrared spectra were used to investigate the vibrational frequency shifts of C-O and C-S bonds of these mixed complexes.
