As with Indian literature, Tagore can not but be mentioned; while referring to Lebanese literature, one can not fail to mention Gibran. In the 1950s, when we were studying at Peking University, we occasionally borrowed a Chinese translation of Gibrallen’s “Prophet” from the library. He was immediately attracted by the profound philosophy, superb artistic conceptions and rich poems in the book . In particular, this translation comes from the admired poet and writer Ms. Bing Xin. That fluent writing, delicate style, but also make it like a jade, shine. We repeatedly recite, chew, ponder, just put it down.
