台湾地区80%以上的人口祖籍为祖国大陆的闽南和粤东地区。记者近期赴台湾进行调研时发现,福建、广东的早期移民移居台湾后,聚族而居,其移居地形成的新聚落大多是以祖地籍贯和村落名称命名的,这些怀念家乡的地缘地名一直衍传至今;同时,这些移民还把他们在祖国大陆时民间信仰的神明奉入台湾,作为乡土保护神敬奉,从而形成了海峡两岸文化中特有的“同名”现象。同根同俗的地缘、神缘关系已成为海峡两岸
