观察我们身边的班主任,大致有两种情形:一类人太刚,素来要强,凡事总爱计较,对学生冷若冰霜,学生在他面前也噤若寒蝉;另一类人则太柔,生性和蔼,遇事无可挑剔,能与学生打成一片,学生在他面前也放得很开。诚然,班主任管理不可无刚,无刚则不能自立,不能自立则不能自强,不能自强所带班级就会掉队;也不可无柔,无柔则不亲和,不亲和就会陷入孤立,而拒学生于千里之外,自我封闭,四面楚歌。笔者认为:班主任管理,刚太过了,产生暴虐,便会折断;柔太过了,显得卑弱,便会靡软。那么,如何运用刚和柔呢?
