I. Non-public Ownership Economy Operates in Good Situation During the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” period, the growth rate of non-public ownership economy in our country doubled that of the national economy and became an important driving force for the growth of the national economy. According to statistics from the Department of Comprehensive Economic Reform of the National Development and Reform Commission, the proportion of non-public ownership in GDP has risen from less than 1% in 1979 to the present one-third, and the share of non-public ownership in total social investment has reached 50%.
