“定语+人称代词”结构曾被视为汉语中不规范语法现象而几乎绝迹,却得以复现,并且越来越广泛地出现在现代汉语中,其原因何在?作为最主要的翻译语言——英语中罕有人称代词前加限制性定语的语法表达形式,在翻译中是如何处理的?本文针对这些问题,选取哈代的小说代表作Tess of the D’Urbervilles的六个译本进行比较性研究,探讨“定语+人称代词”结构在翻译中的美学效果,并从再现源语形式美和实现语言艺术优化不同层面分析该结构的翻译审美功能。
“Attributive + personal pronouns ” structure has almost disappeared as the non-standard grammar phenomenon in Chinese, but it appears again and again more and more widely in modern Chinese. As the most important translation language - How to deal with the grammatical form of expression of a restricted person’s nominal pronoun in English before translation? In view of these problems, this thesis selects six versions of Hardy’s novel Tess of the D’Urbervilles for a comparative study, The aesthetic effect of “attributive + personal pronoun” structure in translation is discussed, and the translation aesthetic function of the structure is analyzed from the aspects of the beauty of the original language and the optimization of the language art.
