In the spring of 1973, Bill Gates was admitted to Harvard University. One of the areas of greatest interest to this world-renowned university campus is the computer lab, where he often works overnight. It is here that Bill Gates developed a version of the BASIC programming language for the first microcomputers. However, in his junior year, Bill Gates lost interest in Harvard. He told his parents on many occasions that he was going to withdraw from Harvard and devoted himself to his favorite computer career. Every time, his parents strongly opposed and all his relatives and friends also considered dropping out of school.
