上海郊区的甜椒生产,一般为冬季播种(10~11月份),春、秋收获,而夏季不播种栽培甜椒,主要靠从外地调进少量供应市场。因此,上海郊区能否夏播栽培甜椒,增加夏淡季蔬菜品种,是中国和日本国农业科学研究中需要研究的课题。为此,中日两国共同进行了甜椒夏季栽培和品种耐热性鉴定试验。以便确立甜椒耐热栽培的适宜时期和鉴定品种的耐热性。
The production of sweet peppers in the suburbs of Shanghai is usually sowing in winter (from October to November), harvesting in spring and autumn, while planting sweet peppers in the summer does not depend on the supply of small quantities in the market.
