1.青岛产的蠕状海索面Nemalion helminthoides var. vermiculare (Sur.) Tseng的果孢子,跟其它海索面的一样,萌发成为具星状色素体的单列细胞而分枝的匍匐藻丝。2.通过在初春用石灰水处理青岛海索面产区的岩礁以消来附着生长在上面的海索面匍匐藻丝及其它杂藻等有机体,然后观察重新长出来的物种的实验,证明了自然界的海索面直立蠕状藻体,即使不是全部也必然在相当大的程度上,不是由上年的果孢子匍匐藻丝所组成的。3.海索面匍匐藻丝在初春至初夏能放散单孢子。单孢子囊直接长在匍匐藻丝的中部细胞上或在中部细胞上的单细胞短柄上。单孢子萌发成为在形态上与果孢子匍匐藻丝相似的匍匐藻丝系统,后者显然是海索面直立蠕状藻体一个重要或唯一的来源。单孢子萌发出来的匍匐藻丝跟果孢子的一样,上面能长出细长的无色毛。4.从1960年初春起,定期而连续地用从自然界采回的(1)海索面匍匐藻丝和(2)完全去了基部并经显微检查上面确已不存在任何匍匐藻丝的海索面直立蠕状幼体,分别在玻片上进行采孢子;结果证明,只有匍匐藻丝才能放散单孢子,而直立蠕状藻体即使在还很幼小的时期也没有放散单孢子的能力。5.在观察单孢子匍匐藻丝如何组成海索面直立蠕状藻体的工作上,虽会在室内看到了它们初步好象正在纠缠聚合在一起而将直立成簇似的一些现象,虽然还会不断观察从自然界采回的匍匐藻丝材料,但却还没有荻得满意的具体结果。
