红黏土工程性质复杂,因其具有高自然含水量、高液限、高塑性、高孔隙比、密度低、压实性差的不良物理性质和难排水、难固结、水稳定性差的工程特性,在红黏土赋存区域的工程设计中一般设计为弃土。本文结合红黏土的工程特性,针对采用红黏土填筑路基可能产生的工程隐患,提出填筑及改良措施,通过施工验证,为红黏土路基施工提供借鉴。

Combining with the engineering characteristics of red clay, aiming at the potential engineering problems caused by using red clay to fill the roadbed, the paper puts forward the reclamation and improvement measures and provides reference for the construction of red clay roadbed through construction verification.
